Ted and Gina Minnaar are a couple who derive great pleasure from seeing their guests enjoying themselves. "We took up this lifestyle because we wanted to share this unique way of allowing people to witness creation both above and below the waters in this beautiful part of the earth. We want to see our guests relax and enjoy themselves, to come away refreshed and deeply satisfied with their sailing vacation"

Captain Ted Minnaar hails from South Africa. His past experience is quite broad, he was the founder and President of a cutting edge Broadcast Television electronic engineering and sales company, a Bush Pilot flying to remote game lodges in Africa as well as a 'Gentleman' farmer breeding stud cattle as well as citrus products. After leaving his homeland in 2000, he relocated to the USA where he busied himself selling Executive Aircraft in the Pacific Northwestern States. Although he loves flying the sea has always been in his blood and besides owning a cruising yacht in South Africa he was involved in competitive yacht racing taking part in national racing events. Besides this his great interest and pastime is cooking and he can always be found joining Gina in the galley where as a team they are able to create meals that have their guest calling for more! He holds a current MCA approved International Offshore Yachtmasters certificate as well as the STCW-95 certification.

Gina Minnaar was born in California and grew up on the west coast of the USA.
Her background has mainly been in commerce although she spent many years working with an organization concerned with the welfare and future of among others the Native American people. She is self motivated, loves traveling and is also a keen photographer. Cooking well prepared home style food has allowed her creative side the opportunity of developing into a rewarding lifestyle aboard a charter yacht. Gina is also the holder of a STCW-95 certification.
