'Cool Change' is based in the beautiful Grenadines located in the southern Caribbean. The island chain stretches in a southerly direction from St Vincent towards Grenada. This is a pristine area, not as heavily frequented as the BVI's and USVI's and is a still well kept secret amongst yachties. Here life is a little more laid back more unpredictable, less crowded, the days seem longer and more relaxed. Marine life is varied and abundant. It's not unusual to sail along accompanied by Dolphins rolling their backs of gold beneath our bows.

Places of note:
Bequia: 'The sailors' favourite. Isolated enough to remain relatively unspoiled, yet with enough life to stimulate and entertain, a perfect blend of old and new. Admiralty Bay is a well protected bay and forms part of the island's town, Port Elizabeth. Small hotels, bars, restaurants and shops are spread along the southeastern shore and accessed by a quaint pathway strung the beach. Local taxi tours are available which will allow a visit to 'The Old Hegg' Turtle sanctuary, the Whaling Museum as well as a view of the island from the Old Fort. There are also several dive shops for those who would like to dive one of the many dive sites in the area.

Mustique: This unique privately owned island developed as a haven of holiday houses (no more than around 80 in total) by the rich and famous is one of the highlights of our trip. Some names of past and present owners are; Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Raquel Welch as well as the late Princess Margaret. Our yacht will me moored in Britannia Bay from which we will have access to the island via dinghy. There is a marvelous beach on the east side of the island named Macaroni Beach which if hiked to is an excellent way of viewing some of the island. Basil's Bar located over the water is renowned for fine food and entertainment.

Tobago Cays: Once you arrive you will not want to leave. Very peaceful, very beautiful, lazy relaxing with absolutely nothing to do other than suntan on a beach or snorkel the reef and then spend the evening with fine dining and music aboard.
